POWERS

  • APEX holds the power to do anything lawful deemed necessary to further or support its Objects. 
  • APEX shall advance measures and take such steps as it deems necessary to defend and uphold Human Rights, Equality and rights recognised by international law.
  • For instance, APEX has the authority to employ any or all of the following means:
  • To work with lawyers to defend human rights and equality;
  • Monitoring, investigating and documenting violations which prejudiced the civil and religious rights of communities;
  • Monitoring, investigating and documenting twists or misuse of the law to allow others to breach the law or cause harm;
  • Monitoring, investigating and documenting breaches of politicians, holders of public office and professional duties (including turning a blind eye) or breaching the public’s trust;
  • Investigating and documenting violations which have prejudiced the civil and religious rights of communities;
  • Monitoring, investigating and documenting human rights abuses;
  • Conducting or commissioning research into human rights issues;
  • Assisting individuals or organisations on human rights issues;
  • Raising awareness of human rights issues;
  • Promoting public support for human rights;
  • Supporting individuals, organisations and governments to further human rights;
  • Supporting legal research and actions to fulfil the Objects;
  • To co-operate with other charities, voluntary bodies or organisations to achieve the Objects;
  • Acquiring or merging with or to enter into any partnership or joint venture arrangement with any other organisations to fulfil the Objects;
  • To establish branches;
  • To work with volunteers;
  • Accept donations of any kind.​
