POWERS
- APEX holds the power to do anything lawful deemed necessary to further or support its Objects.
- APEX shall advance measures and take such steps as it deems necessary to defend and uphold Human Rights, Equality and rights recognised by international law.
- For instance, APEX has the authority to employ any or all of the following means:
- To work with lawyers to defend human rights and equality;
- Monitoring, investigating and documenting violations which prejudiced the civil and religious rights of communities;
- Monitoring, investigating and documenting twists or misuse of the law to allow others to breach the law or cause harm;
- Monitoring, investigating and documenting breaches of politicians, holders of public office and professional duties (including turning a blind eye) or breaching the public’s trust;
- Investigating and documenting violations which have prejudiced the civil and religious rights of communities;
- Monitoring, investigating and documenting human rights abuses;
- Conducting or commissioning research into human rights issues;
- Assisting individuals or organisations on human rights issues;
- Raising awareness of human rights issues;
- Promoting public support for human rights;
- Supporting individuals, organisations and governments to further human rights;
- Supporting legal research and actions to fulfil the Objects;
- To co-operate with other charities, voluntary bodies or organisations to achieve the Objects;
- Acquiring or merging with or to enter into any partnership or joint venture arrangement with any other organisations to fulfil the Objects;
- To establish branches;
- To work with volunteers;
- Accept donations of any kind.
